Benjamin’s work flows from a wide spectrum of backgrounds that include engineering, woodworking, and a life-long appreciation of architecture.
Each piece is the result of striking a balance between desired functionality, understanding the limits of material medium, and achieving a harmonious aesthetic.
Benjamin offers two bodies of work - studio and namesake:
Studio pieces are offered under Ovuud and are not limited in production and available in both standard and customization options.
Namesake work is offered under Benjamin’s name explores new boundaries and are often offered in limited production runs or potentially one-off pieces.
Each piece is designed and fabricated by hand in Benjamin's studio in Philadelphia.
